Participation in the World Winter Games Switzerland 2029

The Special Olympics World Winter Games 2029 are coming to Switzerland! This offers a unique opportunity for athletes and coaches to experience the world’s largest sports and humanitarian event in front of a home crowd. Over 2,000 winter sports athletes from around 100 nations are expected in Switzerland from March 10–17, 2029. And the best part: Team Suisse is expected to be almost three times as large as at previous World Winter Games. The chances of becoming part of this special delegation are therefore very good!

The most important requirement for a potential spot on Team Suisse 2029 is participation in the National Winter Games Chur 2028.
