Participation in the National Winter Games Chur 2028<\/h1>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The Special Olympics National Winter Games Chur 2028 are designed for people with intellectual disabilities. The minimum age is 8 years. A prerequisite is that they train regularly in their sport and are in good physical condition accordingly. <\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\t\n

Preparation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To ensure the Games are a positive experience for everyone, good preparation by athletes and coaches is expected. To support this, the organiser provides comprehensive information that will be continuously added to this website. In addition, an information event with different focus areas is planned for the coaches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Info Day, 04.12.2027<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Attending this event is considered an important prerequisite for the success of the occasion. It provides the necessary knowledge to find their way around the respective venues from the very first day. It serves the purpose of good planning and targeted final preparation for the sports groups. Attendance by the Head of Delegation at this Info Day will be rewarded with a reduction in costs for the entire delegation. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Athletes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Participation is open to all people with intellectual disabilities. Further information can be found here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

No club affiliation or license is required.Registered athletes must be supervised by their coaches throughout the entire duration of the NWG Chur 2028.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Head Coaches (HC)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The coach is required to have completed a basic course (Module “Introduction” and Module “Coach”). They are thus familiar with the sports philosophy and the sports regulations of Special Olympics Switzerland. Head of Delegations (HoD)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The HoD bears the main responsibility and is responsible for the correct registration of their delegation.The Info Day is particularly recommended for the HoD.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Obligations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Registration for the Games requires participation in the official program points, especially the opening ceremony in Chur (Wednesday, March 15, 2028), the evening events from Thursday, March 16 to Saturday, March 18, 2028, and the closing ceremony (Sunday, March 19, 2028). <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Participation Fee<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The participation fee for the NWG Chur 2028 is CHF 120 per participant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

F\u00fcr Coaches mit einem g\u00fcltigen Basiskursausweis reduziert sich die Teilnahmegeb\u00fchr um 50 %. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the Head of Delegation attends the info day on Saturday, December 4, 2027, the entire sports group will receive a 10% discount on the participation fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
